The end of the Philippines

Hi All,

We thought it would be nice to do a little recap of the Phillipines as a sort of Highlight/Lowlight blog, since its the last 36 hours or us here. Currently in Manila after a short flight this morning from Coron. And also its a nice way to reflect on the first country in our world trip:-)

Highlights:

-  PADI in da pocket
- Amazing snorkel tours 
- Great scooter trips across Bohol and Siquijor
- The vibe in MoalBoal
- Waterfall expedition 
- The amazing people we've met
- Several times we danced until the early mornings
- Great weather and the white beaches
- Beautiful nature parks
- We had some great meals, for example Kenilaw, which is a kinda spicy sushi salad, with marinated tuna.

Lowlights:

- El fucking Nido
- Pretty much zero to none culture
- The heat when the power stops working..(unreal)
- Filipino kitchen is really boring, being the foodies that we are, the lowest light.
- The smell and the rubbish everywhere 

So as for a recap, the first. 6,5 weeks have been awesome, the sense of freedom, escaping the 9-5 truly relaxes you. However we are ready now for Vietnam, everyone we spoke to says it's everything we're missing here in the Philippines, there is an abundance of in Vietnam. Culture and food, are the things we need now guys;) We'll be boarding a plane to Ho Chi Minh in less then 36 hours, and I can tell you... we're super excited.
