Hi All, a new week a new blog:)

Monday, we have breakfast in paradise on the beach, organic food, and decent coffee, happy man! Exciting day for Nadine as she has to finish her PADI with the final dive today, we arrive at the dive shop, and Karim the instructor tells me to leave, and start drinking, Nadine and him have got this....So I leave them be:) about 2 hours later they return with excellent news, she passed! We're all very excited and the whole dive shop is high fiving us! Well done Girl! In the evening we decide as a treat to take Karim out for a meal, his choice, we end up at this amazing resort, where we basically order the whole menu, sashimi, tuna tartar, oysters, you name it, 2 bottles of wine, and all of that for 30 quid! Drunk as we are, we decide to hit the local bar/club. Nadine looks Karim in the eyes and says, " I'm a better drinker, then I am a diver" haha Karim laughs and says, " So am I" whilst he's pouring Sambuca on a drink called "Flying Lamborghini" did I say the drink was already on fire! And consisted of 5 glasses and 12 shots of alcohol...... maybe he wasn't lying:) Hit the club, it's now 5 AM and we need to go home, ASAP!

Wake up with the mother of all hangovers the following day, decide to rent a scooter and drive up to Tagbilaran, to extend our visa...bad move, we almost die about 11 times, and can't find the fucking immigration office, we look around for 2 hours, in 35 degree heat, we're in the midst of a break up... as we see the sign, 10 min later we have the extension. We drive tour across the island, find an amazing pier, go into the Handanang caves, and find an absolutely deserted beach to see the sunset....all is well in Bas&Nadine land.

Wednesday, we wake up relatively early to got to Siquijor by boat, about 1,5 hours, arrive at our hostel/resort because that's what it looks like, and meet up with some friends we met 7 days ago. We all go out to dinner in the best restaurant in Siquijor, and as we return to the hostel, following true backpacker style we order a bottle of local rum and a bottle of coke and head to the beach, we plug in the Minirig(thanks Will) and share stories laugh and drink way to much!

Thursday, hungover again...but worth it, we take the scooter and venture inland to see some cool stuff, and we were not disappointed, an old bewitched tree accompanied by small skin eating fish, an amazing waterfall, and a local beach called Saladoong beach, in the evening we meet up with 2 great Danish girls and have some more great food, one of them ordered a Tuna steak and I had instant food envy.

Friday, we have breakfast at our beach, no one's there, great place for some eggs on toast:) we try to read on the beach however it starts to drizzle a little, head back in the cabana where we continue reading and sharing stories with another Dutch traveler(the Dutch are everywhere, even on this deserted piece of Paradise) go for a WIFI lunch because we need to book some flights, yes guys and gals, this is what you do, have lunch for the WIFI. In the evening we go to a local party, with a live band, I feel super ill, so after 15 min we call it a night, it's 21:30.

Wake up still feeling ill, venture out to the beach for some breakfast, then back to the room for a nap, Nadine wants to go for a massage, I'm not up for it but join as well. Get a great but somewhat weird massage, and feel reborn! Great stuff! We passed this local street food place on the way, and go there, under the stars, have the best food since we came to the Philippines, satay, noodles, pasta, fish curry, mango pie, beans and 2 beers, all for 4 quid! Try to beat that:) At night we go to another local party, round 2...it isn't very exciting and head back home at 23:30.

Today we made a move to Dumaguete, 1,5 hour by some sort of weird freighter... head over to the flying fish hostel, where we have a private room plus shower.. life is grand! Go out for sushi, and now writing this blog. Hope you're enjoying it, our next adventure is Moalboal for some cliff jumping, and Kawasan falls, but first explore Dumagete.

Have a look at the pictures, we miss you all!

Love, Nadine and Bas.
